Field Sales Representative, South Texas



Reporting to the Sales Execution Manager, this Field Sales Representative role is critical to driving revenue growth and building relationships with major retail customers and distributor network in the assigned territory. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in field sales, a passion for the beverage industry, and a strong work ethic.


Role Responsibilities: 

  • Create, build and maintain strong partnerships with Distributors, Retailers, and independent retailers to grow the Liquid Death Portfolio in assigned territory
  • Apply company sales strategies in key markets to dominate the premium water category
  • Communicate to our Distributor Partners to execute in trade execution with upcoming promotional programs and activities
  • Identifying new opportunities with Distributor Partners to grow sales
  • Marketplace execution, maximizing distribution & securing high-value retail space
  • Executing up to 15 field sales visits per day depending on geography & initiatives


Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent in Business or Sales Marketing
  • 1+ years of field based sales or distributor sales experience within the Beverage and distributor sales environment preferred
  • Direct store delivery (DSD) experience preferred 
  • An entrepreneurial spirit (forward thinker, owner mentality) with willingness to adapt to company changes to meet company hyper growth needs 
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and with a wide range of employees with different skill sets
  • Must possess a valid driver license and have a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations required 
  • Willingness to meet the high field based travel needs of the role: 
    • 80-90% of customer visits are in Austin, TX
    • 10-20% of customer base is within a 2 to 3 hour drive in market (which may require some overnight stays) 
    • Once a quarter cross market blitzes (will go to another state to support sales blitz activity as needed)
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint), Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides)


The typical salary range for this position is: $63,000-$77,000

 

The actual salary offer will take into account multiple factors including skills, experience, education and location. Please note that the salary details listed in role postings reflect the base salary only, not total compensation, which includes equity and benefits.

KPI & Performance Tracking: Support the management of key performance indicators related to distributor sales growth and in-store execution.

P&L Management: Create accurate and timely forecasts for case volume, spending & profitability.

Merchandiser Training & Development (If Applicable): Lead training for Merchandiser(s) to enhance selling capabilities and market readiness. Manage training programs for merchandisers to ensure effective product placement and promotional execution. 

Brand Messaging: Educate distributors on the Liquid Death brand narrative to ensure clear and consistent messaging.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent in Business or Sales Marketing
  • 4+ years of relatable Regional Sales Management, Territory Sales, or Distributor Partner Management experience within the Beverage and Distributor Sales Environment where strategic planning (to include KPI tracking, market analysis, and using data-driven insights) to identify growth opportunities were critical to success
  • 2+ years of experience in the Detroit metro Michigan area beverage industry / CPG strongly preferred 
  • 2+ years of experience displaying leadership skills preferred
  • Proficiency working in VIP, Karma, Excel, PowerPoint required
  • Strong capability in data analysis and reporting preferred (IRI, and Nielsen)
  • Strong presentation skills (both written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver engaging, clear presentations to diverse audiences)
  • Must have a valid driver's license & clean motor vehicle record (MVR): with no major violations
  • Safely operate personal vehicle to fulfill work-related duties; this position involves driving a personal vehicle for work-related purposes
  • Up to 40% field based travel with some overnight stays required

  • Ability to stand in store and sit in a vehicle for extended periods of time
  • Ability to carry equipment and product up to 50 lbs

The typical salary range for this position is: $72,000 - $98,000

On Premise Marketing Manager, East



The On-Premise Marketing Manager, East role is responsible for identifying and marketing top accounts in each territory to drive volume.  It’s a relationship-focused role that works closely with key distribution partners to market and sell Liquid Death products.


Key Responsibilities include: 

  • Effective management of national accounts and chains
  • Identifying key independent accounts in each territory to grow volume and brand visibility to include bar chains, hotels, casinos, and iconic, high volume venues 
  • Presenting to Distributor partners and to internal stakeholders on a monthly basis 
  • Crafting RFP’s for national account chain relationships
  • Building effective programming (programming for accounts and programming for distribution)
  • Identify and discern high volume, on brand accounts in each territory 
  • Work with distribution partners to lead incentive programs and participate in ABPs (Annual Business Plans) to drive sales
  • Analyze data within VIP to spot market trends and support brand growth within the on-premise channel in each territory
  • Use Liquid Death guidelines to align on-premise short and long-term strategies with the company’s overall business hyper growth goals 
  • Develop and execute fun and engaging marketing tactics such as on-site events, sampling, sweepstakes, and giveaways


Qualifications/Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or another related field preferred 
  • Minimum of 5+ years in a relatable On Premise marketing role within the beverage industry where relationship development, analytical thinking, and using data driven insights to grow brand visibility were critical to success required 
  • A proven track record of success in selling to on-premise accounts and a deep understanding of the beverage industry
  • Previous experience reading analytical reports and data analysis experience required (VIP software experience preferred)
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills 
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills to build and drive presentations weekly 
  • Excellent negotiator & influencer, preferably with distribution partners
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides)
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time with the ability to work nights and weekends
